A Pleasent Dream

Have you ever had this pleasant dream, Where everything looked so nice and gleam.  Absolutely illogical but feels so real, Takes you on a flight but is totally unbelievable, As your soul flies high, a sudden exit spoils the play. When the present hits you, you realize that the dream was just midway.  You quickly close your eyes tight, trying to relive the dream,  But your dream truck had already lost its steam, You slowly relax yourself and try to pick the feathers of your dream, One by one... Scene by scene. You try to fix them and shape them, so that you can remember your dream the next morning, crisp and clean.  But you always knew that, no matter how hard you try... The minute you close your eyes, your dream is going to fade away and dry...  I wonder if the friendships in our life are just like this pleasant dream.  No matter, how hard you try to hold on to it.  You will soon reach the doors of exit.  And those feathers of memory you picked an...

My Friend, Yet a Stranger!

You are a friend, yet you are a stranger You know me, yet you don't know me You are near me, yet too far from me You ask me, yet I don't tell You think I am well, but I am not You don't care to ask again, even I don't care to tell again You think you are a friend, yet you are a stranger

When everything falls apart!

I remember those days travelling on a window seat, shouting at all the trees, mountains, folded roads and clouds, asking them to follow me.    Hoping that the trees would follow me,   Hoping that the mountains might stay in sight,   Hoping that the clouds would run along with me.    But everything fell apart.    When everything which I thought was close to me had fallen apart.    There was this elegant lady who was following me silently throughout my journey.    She ran along with me,    She kept phase with me,   She took turns with me, She made sure that I never lost sight of her,   She was a silent spectator with a secret promise made to herself, to protect me, make me feel safe.  "Son, when you feel that you have lost track. Don't look down. Look up and you will find me!"   Today I realize that life had taken me far away from where...

Peaceful Riddle

In a world where peace is broken into pieces . .    There are so many people who try their turns to fix this riddle.  Every little piece that gets its right match, brings enormous joy to them. .  And when they find a couple of pieces undisturbed in the riddle, which is already in place.    That adds much more joy !    I found one such place today, an untouched piece with lots of peace in it.

MORNING MONES

Eyes glued to the mobile screen   Lost clue of the outside scene, Ears shut down with ear phones   Failed to listen to the morning moans, Blind beggars queue up for a penny   People pretending to be blind is so funny Eyes turning blind,    Ears fading kind,    Words doesn't really mind.  Disconnected in time,   Disconnected with people,   Disconnected with life, DIS-ABLED people sat down there trying to buffer their screens to connect to this world. SPECIALLY-ABLED people stood there begging for attention showing the only way to connect to this world!

The Hope

It was a dark night, people were waiting for their buses to arrive. It turned out to be a long wait untill they heard a voice shouting from one corner 'Buses are haulted at the Depot, bus drivers have announced a sudden strike against the government'. Disappointment starts to spread across, people start to look out for an alternative option. . Complains from a old man at one corner - 'I don't know what's wrong with these drivers, they just announced a strike last week. Why can't they give us a prior information ? Who is suffering now?' Confusions on the other corner from young lads - 'Hey how do we get to our place now ? Okay you go and look for autos, let me try to book OLA or Uber from here. Ladies in their mid age were bargaining with the share auto driver at one end. . Everybody start to look out for an alternative options and disappear from the scene. . A little boy observing all these, scratches his mom's arm and a...

Don’t look after us, LOOK AWAY!

She asked him - Why are you guys so cruel ? Why the hell do you do this to women ? He replied - Hey. . now please stop blaming in common. If some cheap guy does that. How would I be responsible for that ? I always see girls shouting at every men about this, as if you girls were a victim of it and we were the criminals. What do you think we can do about this ? She replied -    Just because you dint do it, it doesn’t make you INNOCENT. Just because it didn’t happen to me, it doesn’t mean that I am a not VICTIM of it. Constant eyes on me makes me feel insecure, when I travel, when I walk alone, when trying to wear something which I wish to wear. Do you still think I should be a victim, to question you ? Now ask yourselves, how many times have you constantly stared at a girl for no reason ?  How are you different from the so called Cheap guy ? He remained silent. . .
